Philosophy
"We put people first". From
people for people. This is how we think and how we work. We enjoy
developing and constructing wheelchairs, which put their users first.
Chairs which should fulfil their purpose, but also be unique. That
is why most of our chairs and bikes are made-to-measure and why
we provide so many extras.

CNC manufacturing with state-of-the-art processing centres,
construction using 3D technology and a high degree of production
depth at PRO ACTIV guarantee detailed, technical solutions
that distinguish themselves threough attractive designs and
reliable
product quality.

| History
1986
The firm was founded in Weilstetten by Sättele & Hauser,
manufacturers of motor components for racing.
1989
The first accessories for wheelchairs were manufactured.
Move from Weilstetten to Dotternhausen.
1992
PRO ACTIV Reha-Technik GmbH was founded. Development of easy running
wheelchairs. "SPEEDY" first presented at "Reha"
Fair in Karlsruhe.

Motorway
A81 Stuttgart – Singen. Leave motorway at EMPFINGEN: Exit
31 (approx. 55 km from Stuttgart) in the direction of BALINGEN.
Just before Balingen join the B27 towards ROTTWEIL passing Balingen,
Endingen, Erzingen and Dotternhausen.
When you arrive in DOTTERNHAUSEN you will see a large cement works
on the right hand side called "Rohrbach Zement". Turn
right at the traffic lights towards the cement works. Cross over
the railway line, which is opposite the cement works entrance,
and immediately before the SPEDITION BAY turn right. Carry on
this road until you arrive at PRO ACTIV.
